Ntombi Moyo
Project: Music Video Shoot
We worked with our day 1 favourite, Ntombi Moyo on the video shoot for “NOT THE ONLY” by Clairy Browne. In this shoot we created two vibrant and striking looks on her with the strategy to bring out the inner ‘bad ass’ in her. Inspiring everyone and anyone to tap into their own inner ‘bad ass’ energy. We used extensions to achieve this.

Sampa The Great
Project: Music Video Shoot
Working with Sampa The Great has been a dream come true for Saka Hair Studio. Creating the hairstyles for the music video ‘Time’s Up (feat Krown)’ is one of our most favourite collaborations to date. We worked with Sampa to create several unique hairstyles that can be seen throughout the music video.

Collective Closets
Project: Collection shoot
We worked with our all time fave fashion brand Collective Closets, on their new collection “Tradition”. The direction for this shoot was for bold and classic statements. The solution was to go with a simple yet elegant hairstyle. The model had short hair which was a challenge we loved and worked really well with the creative strategy. We used a combination of hair gels, combs and our creative skills to achieve this look.

Remi
Project: Music Video Shoot
REMI is an incredibly talented Melbourne-based hip hop duo who we had the pleasure of working with on the music video ‘Brain’ ft Lori’. We loved the experience of creating the looks for both Remi and Ntombi on this video.

Mwanje
Project: Music Video Shoot
Saka Hair Studio was fortunate to work with Ntombi Moyo and Mwanje on the music video for ‘The Divine’. Mwanje is an emerging Melbourne-based singer from Zambia, born and raised in Botswana. The looks for this video included a number of bold hairstyles which involved creating elaborate shapes using hair extensions and braids adorned with cultural pieces. It was a pleasure working with Mwanje and her team of creative individuals.
